I am Stuart Lord, a writer specialising in fantasy stories and worldbuilding.

I have been working with others to run multiple Live Action Roleplay Sytems for many years, helping the systems to thrive. I am skilled at writing exciting, and carefully considered storylines for players. Creating challenges for them to overcome.

My degree in Ancient History gave me an insight into the structures and workings of pre-industrial politics and societies. This is a knowledge I have honed into an ability to worldbuild, building fantasy societies in plausible and dynamic ways, adding depth and bredth, and understanding how sections of a fantasy society would develop and change.

I also have spent many years practising combat in both Re-enactment and Live Action Roleplay, giving me an intimate knowledge on the workings of weapons, armour and battles. This knowledge translates into my writings, giving readers realism, and new insights into any combat scenes.
